Now heading into my eighteenth year of the blast, I think it is time to finally ride into the sunset for a little while and take a break.
Too much tsoris for this old cowboy, don't feel much like sharing right now. It's all been said. Too much trouble in River City, a lot to git done 'fore the roof caves in.
Vaya con dios, or with the appropriate deity of your choice.

Thanks for all the photos, musings, and acerbic wit. Best of luck, and I’ll hope for more in the future. Ricardo.
Always darkest just before the dawn, Robert. Take a break and hang in there.
I can wait. First read every morning. Deliman.❤️☮️❤️
OK Robert,
I look forward to when you can say "remember when times were shitty" and can once again be your normal acerbic self.
Later,
H
We have never met and I can not remember how I came to be following your 'adventures' but let me say your intelligence, knowledge, political views (all of which I never agreed with) charm and heart have been of particular solace and joy to me. Sorry for a break, but look forward to seeing you 'down the trail and around the bend.'
What a nice comment. Thank you Glen. And everybody else.
Please figure out another way for us to talk. I miss you so much and I’m also pretty damn scared
I hope things are going better for you. I miss your posts and hope you feel up to coming back soon. -Ginni
Going to wait for the smoke to clear. Thanks for the note, do I know you?
No, you don't know me. I'm a trail patrol volunteer for the San Dieguito River Park's Coast to Crest trail and several years ago I ran into a man on the Lagoon trail near the fairgrounds in Del Mar and we started talking, maybe about the nesting ospreys. He recommended your blog, probably because of your wonderful nature photos. I'm pretty sure I introduced myself the first time I commented and told you his name, but I never saw him again and don't remember it any more. I've enjoyed reading your blog ever since then. I hope you don't have to wait four years! -Ginni
thumbs up!
I'm missing your posts, going cold turkey for all of us you are. ~ Diane O
