Chris Carter called this the most psychedelic of all Beatles songs on his show the other day and I must confess that I had never thought of it as such, I am the Walrus, Day in the life, Strawberry Fields, Tomorrow never knows, Rain, there are so many to pick from. Good but the most psychedelic?

I will say that Magical Mystery Tour, which was somewhat disparaged in its time, is in my opinion, the most underrated of all their albums.

It still delivers many beautiful musical passages and experiences. 

Carter said that the Beatles stopped making psychedelic albums after 1968 and I suppose that he is correct. 

Abbey Road and Let it be reverted back to more ballads and Revolver type music. 

Let it be is probably my least favorite fab four album, I oscillate between the first album, Sgt. Pepper and Rubber Soul as my personal favorite.
