I used to be a Kung Fu practitioner and have literally watched thousands of these movies in my life. Usually a single Chinese farmer holds off a whole Japanese battalion, this one is a little different. If you need a diversion, watch. I am not sure if it is from Western China or Mongolia but the anthropological material is new to me. You just don't see many (or any) like this. High Noon meets Kurosawa. There is a cool cinematic quality to the film or at least I think so. Wish I knew the name.
