The Hungarian guitarist Szabo released this wonderful cut on his Spellbinder album in 1966. A medley of this song and Peter Green's Black Magic Woman for Fleetwood Mac became the basis for Santana's own take of Black Magic Woman - Gypsy Queen on the Abraxas album in 1970. Amazing cast of musicians.
Gabor Szabo; guitar
Ron Carter; bass
Chico Hamilton; drums

Going back a bit farther with Black Magic Woman. The author Peter Green admits much of the inspiration was from Otis Rush's All your love (I miss lovin)
