The picture above of the Heron is really good. These days, I suppose people would assume it is an autofocus problem, but a few years back it would (and should) provoke questions like why is the bird so etherial, mistily out of focus yet inevitably the point of the image.
I am not so sure about the audience today. They are saturated in images and thanks to photo automation the images are near perfect.
Will they see or just take another sip of beer and move on?
