Not the most exciting day from an avian perspective but I got to watch the ducks and sit in nature and take a nice hike so it can't be too bad. I really like using the Merlin id app.
I sit on the couch and it tells me which birds are singing outside the window. It is really helping my sound and song recognition ability. How else would I have known it was a bewick's wren singing this morning?
