Strange day today. I am sitting in my office when I hear somebody on the roof. Fearing someone trying to break into the jewelry store I run outside my back door. I see a young male in a hoodie on the neighbor's roof, yelled at him to stop, he takes off to the next roof with a little parkour move and skedaddles. I called 911 and cops showed up. My friend James who works at the frame shop gallery next door went up on the  ladder and sees that the guy was actually tagging. FAZE. Again, what kind of idiot signs his name to his crime? Bizarre.

It was pizza night at the Sommers home last night with the new Le Creuset skillet.

I did a margharita style with ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, italian salami and homemade sauce topped with basil.

This is Leslie's; shrimp, mozzarella, mushrooms, garlic and basil. We used the frozen pizza dough from Major, next time I make my own.

I bought truffle salami too. I liked the taste but she wasn't keen on it.

Both pies were great, this is hers, admittedly much prettier.

We are going to get very good at this. You preheat the skillet, somewhat tricky working with a 450 degree pan but we stuck it in the oven and it all turned out well.

I wondered what you were cooking up in your new Le Creuset pan. The pizza looks terrific. Never thought to bake one in a skillet. I did see a steel pizza plate on TV a few weeks ago and thought about buying one. I’ll use my skillet instead. The pictures are beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the northern lights one day.
