The shot on the bottom is taken from the end of my driveway. I love how the bands of light lay on Gavilan Mountain. Never get tired of my view. iPhone isn't quite up to the job but it is what was at hand.
The hawk above was sort of giving me the stink eye. I found another nest in another tall sycamore this morning, need to keep my eye on that one too.
I am so happy that I didn't live here a hundred years ago with the train or stagecoach flying by every day. I enjoy the peace of a tranquil valley.
