If you can get through the WaPo paywall, read Philip Bump's excellent article from yesterday, Jan. 6 probe renews questions about Secret Service independence.
Anybody out there actually believe that the Secret Service accidentally deleted the Jan 5 and 6 texts? I have a bridge to sell you.
They were told to protect their communications way back in January of 2021, long before the purported "phone migration."
Sounds to me like a major investigation and if need be, housecleaning, is in order.

The head of the SS is a Trump appointee… he is still there, never replaced by Biden… when the text message issue came up a week or so ago, he turned in his resignation… effective at the end of the month.
