In my opinion this session take with Lowell on vocals and guitar is far superior to the Weir version on the Shakedown Street album.
I was privileged to see Lowell's last performance, it was solo, either in New York or D.C. maybe the Bottom Line or the Bitter End, I was back east for a conference. He was wearing camouflage clothing and looked godawful, heavy, sweating and drugged. Little Feat in their prime was quite something and I am glad I was able to see them perform at their peak.
