Jerry and Merl at the Keystone in Berkeley in 1973. They played a bunch of dates that year with Sarah Fulcher, an improvisational singer from Texas who handles the vocals here. I like her style. She also sang on the Grateful Dead's Wake of the Flood album on one of my favorite songs, the Weather Report Suite. Jerry heads should note that John Kahn is not playing bass here, the instrument instead ably manned by one Marty David.
This is a long, extended improvisational jam and may not be the average blaster's cup of tea but I think it has merit.
