Picture reprise

I have 225,295 pictures saved in my lightroom catalogue. What the hell is going to happen to them when I expire and leave this mortal coil for parts unknown/the long dirt nap?

Now they are not all good of course and I understand that appreciation for graphic images is a matter of personal taste but damn, I really like some of my work and it would be a real shame if somebody just slipped the ultra terrabyte hard drive in the trash. Please wait until the body is cold in any case or it might come back to haunt you.

So before I take my exit I will feel free to revisit shots on occasion and share them with you. Honestly, I am constantly reprocessing old shots as new technology comes on board, hopefully for the better. I don't think you have ever seen the uncropped versions of these two efforts.

It was an interesting day. April 11, 2015 to be exact.

I was taking a walk near my house and I just happened to bring a crop sensor camera with the worst telephoto I own, a nikkor 70-300mm 4.5/5.6.

But something is better than nothing and I managed to catch lightning in a bottle.

Two red tailed hawks battling over a snake.

About two hundred shots total of which these following two are probably the most iconic.

These will be new to some of you.
