Wildcat did prowl...


I received this letter from my friend Terry DeWald in Tucson yesterday:

Got a call from our neighbor who was concerned about a baby bobcat who was hanging out in the shade below their dining room window.  She was worried that the mother had left this cub and asked if she should call someone to come and get it.  I suggested that she should hold on because the Momma was somewhere nearby and most likely would return later on in the day.  A few hours here is what happened (below), with two other siblings who joined the party. Momma was plausibly hunting during the day and proceeded to move the family up onto their roof for the night to get a nicer view of the constellations.
