You remember I mentioned that Aaron was a grump. He sure wasn't here. This is a first part of two good interviews. What a great bunch of pitchers he mentions. Weren't we lucky to have seen Seaver, Gibson, Koufax, Drysdale and Palmer in our lifetime?
Speaking of Aaron, I recently received a 1963 Milwaukee Braves team baseball signed by Aaron, Spahn, Torre, Eddie Matthews and Cloninger, among others.
Hank hit .319 that year, 41 home runs, 141 ribbies. Perhaps his second best year statistically, he was third in the MVP voting.
