Riverview

I took pictures of another hawk nest on Riverview yesterday.

Unfortunately the nest was too far away to get a decent shot from the vantage and with the equipment I had.

Three eyass in this nest. I will return one day with my teleconverter or a longer lens.

Still it was nice to be there. I normally see and hear more red shouldered hawks at this particular site.

But I caught shots of the red tailed parents doing acrobatics in the sky.

Nice to see how much snow is on the mountains to the northeast. It is usually not visible from the elevations that I frequent.
