Joan Baez

The background guitar part here is haunting me. Sounds so familiar. Could it be Joe South? The record was cut in Nashville, with Love minus zero as the B side. Dylan had the sometime session musician South play on Blonde on Blonde. I can't find any record of who played on this track so it is just conjecture at this point. It also sounds very much like the guitar tone in the Box Tops hit Cry like a baby, an idiosyncratic electric sitar riff played by one Nashville session player Reggie Young. I wonder?

Could have been, older sister. We played a lot of her around the house.
