Head shots and portraits

A never before processed shot of Brett, taken with the Rollei in the alley. My favorite model, my favorite shooting spot, now unfortunately chained off.

Diana from Coronado, a very sweet soul who was a great friend to my late mother in law when she had MS. Unfortunately she herself died alone, we never got the word she was ill until it was tragically too late. She looks a little bit lost here.

I have shot and shared a lot of good pictures of old drunks but won't go there today, will try other things today if I may.

If I had a favorite subject, I guess it would be older people. Character shines through in the latter decades. The masks come off. But children are wonderful as well.

I don't know if I have a specific style or not but I do know that I often fail miserably at straight portrait photography. Not my thing.

I believe that I am looking for something else which I can't verbally define.

I know it when I see it.

It's really hard to pick portraits. I have an awful lot of them.
