Much better versions of this song eg Paul Brady....and as for square music, in the early 60's, PPM and the Kingston Trio were totally square and still are, yet I cannot escape some of the lines, like 'no he never returned, no he never returned....blah blah blah and how about that fucking PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON? Crikey. That song still sends me running for my Dylan albums. How about the Carter Family for some simple but RELEVANT music of that era?Carters will never be square and anyone who doesn't get it, well....later for that. Hope you are doing ok. Stay in touch!
