Joy

Joy Reid has just issued an apology for some intemperate blog posts from her past. Finally. She has been denying and dancing around the issue for months.

She even intimated that she had been hacked when confronted with some homophobic writing. I believe that Reid started writing her blog in 2005. 'Bout time she copped to it.

Admit it, get it over with.

If you write as much as Joy or I do, if you have strong opinions, you are eventually going to piss someone off. Maybe often.

I was looking at my blog the other day, happened to pick 2011 and I was amazed at how shrill I sounded on certain issues. Joy says she is a better person today, I'm not going to go that far.

Now I could scrub the thing and sound really p.c. but I won't. I wrote it, I will at least try to defend it. I may not agree with all of my past positions in toto today but they will not get sanitized. I wish I could do something about all the dead Youtube links but I don't have the time. Early photos ain't all that great either.
