Sally Go 'Round The Roses

This is a Jaynetts cover that was released by the Boulder, Colorado band, the Astronauts under the one time nome de plume of the Sunshine Ward in 1967. They were a midwest surf band and charted with a hit, Baja, seemed to have a real strong following in Japan.

So many great covers of this song, Question Mark and the Mysterians, Great Society, etc.. The Astronauts are an early band that developed from a band with the politically incorrect name, The Stormtroopers and later morphed into a bunch of different groups including The Electric Prunes or some version thereof.

Would have loved to see the Stormtroopers' uniforms.
