I love the music of the late John Fahey. it surprises me how many guitar players are unfamiliar with his work. Or can't get into it. I think he inhabits his own special cosmos up in the platitudes.

I have to say that I forgot about him. Back when I was playing he was one of my heroes. I could at one point play Blind Joe Death from beginning to end. Can't even play a chord now.
Got to see him perform once and like more than a few musicians who came to Colorado to play, took his usual pre concert alcohol tune up and forgot the effects of altitude and dropped.
