Wisconsin Cheese

As first reported in The Nation, Green Bay City Clerk Kris Teske refused to open a satellite voting office on the campus of University of Wisconsin Green Bay because she said that students tended to vote Democrat and she didn't want to give them an advantage.

Teske was appointed by Republican Mayor Jim Schmitt, who is an ally of Gov. Scott Walker (R), a voting restriction proponent, according to The Nation.

More on the story here at Talking Points Memo.

Can you imagine the hue and cry from the right if a clerk refused to open a voting office at a military base because soldiers tend to vote Republican?

It would have been an outrage had a Dem done this. Lead story on FOX News.
