Frutiger was Swiss, a titan in the field of typography and had a beautiful, clean style.
His typeface children included the font at the bottom of your checks and many very important faces including Univers and his eponymous namesake Frutiger.
He was the creator of so many beautiful letters. Here are a few of the many typefaces of his that I could find on Linotype.
The reality is that Frutiger could do it all, serif, non serif, modern, classic, his forms had perfect weight. He has left behind an artistic legacy that will stand the test of time and space.
