I'm good

The operation was a success, only took one zap, see if it holds this time. Have done it before, didn't stick. The operation is called a cardio conversion, or plain conversion and pardon this non believer if he winces a skoche when he hears the term. Its purpose is to put an atrially fibrillating heart back in normal sinus rhythm. I'm in. Boy's got rhythm.

The staff, nurses and Doctors at Temecula Valley Hospital were all great and Leslie was amazing as always, up early like a trooper and by my side the whole way.

Hadn't eaten since midnight so I was hungry when we left. Leslie and I decided after discussing various options to try a Chinese place we hadn't checked out before, Shanghai. Now a place in Temecula serving my favorite chinese cuisine couldn't be any good, could it? It was.

We started out with Xioa lo ban, the precious pork steamed soup dumplings, fantastic. We also had a griddle lamb dish with inky black mushrooms and great vegetables as well as cold shanghai duck in brown sauce. I want to bring a group there and go crazy. Soon.

Was put under, my head is still a little farblungen, I'm home now and taking it easy. They want me to chill for several days, try to stay in normal stasis and rhythm.

I haven't been able to communicate and know that many of you have called, emailed and texted. All is good, Leslie is taking good care of me, thank you. We will talk soon.

I'm so glad you came through ok! I have spent a considerable amount on Spanish history on Wikipedia and I immediately thought "Converso" before you mentioned it.

Ken, there are times I focus and there are times I like to just bop around.

Robert,
Glad your procedure was swift and successful...but I don't know
about pork, lamb and duck as a chaser.
You look mellow...take care.

Wouldn't it be funny if it was Maynard the old sheep farmer that lives up off of De Luz and Sandia Creek.
