call it the Buddy system; i don't always go for swingin' big band versions of rock tunes but this i can hang with; Buddy was arguably the baddest drummer ever and he made sure his band played their asses off; i'd like to know what year this is from; i do know that after he left Coryell's band, saxophonist Steve Marcus hooked up with Buddy and eventually became his musical director. and we're all the Richer for it.
