That's a really nice image, the sort of thing I hunt for with the view camera. This one has excellent composition and technical virtuosity going for it. Ole!
Robert this is a really great shot. Have a look at cropping just above the dark spot in the lower left corner. I think that gives more force to the sky. Ken
I normally don't take anybody ele's crop advice, or much any advice for that matter but since I dish it out I have to receive it, Ken. Took it out, don't know if it adds force to the sky or not but I didn't like the stick in the foreground anyway. Thanks. Thanks Jon as well for the kind words.
Blue Heron: Great image as noted by our friends. I agree with the crop idea. Most of the dirt in the foreground does not add anything to the image. I suggest cropping just below the two foreground bushes. You will be crazy for it!!
