Big Bay Bust

The San Diego fireworks show, in a serious case of pyrotechnic premature ejaculation if not performance anxiety, lasted about 15 seconds the other night. A blaze of glory and then it reportedly fell asleep. Perhaps if it had thought about other things...The other participants were said to be a bit unhappy but not really into shaming the city for its inadequate performance. Hey, things happen. Smoke a cigarette.

I can't say that I am entirely clear on this Higgs Boson, god particle business. God was a particle this whole time? Here I was looking for an old bearded dude playing a harp on a cloudburst...

Lot of folks have been asking me how I manage to square my political views with the one percent, the people who happen to be the majority of my clients. It is a fair question. The short answer is not only are many of my clients successful, they are also quite intelligent. Being intelligent, they understand that policies mean more than parties and they are inclined to critically evaluate logical discussion.

AS objective as I try to be, I do have strong feelings on some issues and I can't and won't hide them. If it is enough to make you not want to do business with me, I am sorry. I had a client in the desert/newport who refuses to do business with me because he does not like the politics of this blog, whatever they are.

My friend and client M accused me of being very one sided recently and if he says I was, I probably am. When I bag on the democrats, which I often do, I am accused of being half hearted and less then genuine. So I really can't win here. M asked me for a little balance and I will take it to heart. I have many conservative readers and I appreciate the greatly and hope that they will continue to keep me honest. MMWB is right at the top of the list. He doesn't sugarcoat and lets me have it with regularity. I appreciate his and Swans and LeMasters criticism as well. Add Millard and Stoops to the list.

Thanks for everybody tuning in.  Grumpy is in the dumps and JC slammed his bike into a concrete wall doing 50, sustaining multiple serious fractures and now very lucky to still be alive. It is going to be tough. Pray if it is your wont.

I had a great fourth at Corrie and Renées. Her kids and grandkids were a gas. Really nice time. Glowlights. Marshmallows. Good food. Fireworks.
