I agree with the holy eminence about the rotten state of mankind however with all of the sordid pedophilia scandals in the church, I think that he might have selected a better choice of words for the occasion.
The frail pontiff is turning 85 next week and probably had other things on his mind. Best wishes to him and to all of his flock.
