Road Wear

flaming bella vista © Robert Sommers

My van's transmission is starting to slip. My mechanic couldn't feel it but I can. He says you can't flush the tranny at this point because the viscosity is so low on the new fluid that it would wipe the whole thing out. So it's death watch for the 2005 Town and Country. New tranny, 3k and change.

Gary, my mechanic says that I am lucky to have never changed the trans yet, being the week link on these Chryslers, it should be on number three by now. Rolling around with 156,000 plus miles, I feel so lucky...

My gall bladder is killing me this week, first time in my life I have actually ever noticed it. How do you do? It will be an interesting experience to see which konks out first, the Chrysler or my gall bladder.

ed. note - I am purposefully not allowing comments on this post so that I can spare myself the freaking "you've got to start taking care of your self" stuff. Thank you for your kind thoughts. I will go see a Doctor soon.
