It has been a good week. Things are starting to get a little easier for me. Hope for you as well.

I was at Fallbrook Office Supply this morning when a middle aged woman came by looking for a 1/2" ring binder. The owner told her that the closest size he had was 5/8" and that they unfortunately didn't come any smaller. "Well is that the same size as 1/2"," she asked? "No" he said patiently, "it is an 1/8th inch larger." She vacantly stared back at him without an ounce of comprehension. I pretended to work there and said, "We do have the 8/16th" madam." She shook her head, a deer caught in the headlights, never quite figuring it all out. We tried hard not to bust out laughing.

I saw Fallbrook's own Corporal Klinger, DJ, walking around without his brassiere or fake rack yesterday and it just looked, well, unnatural.

The shop got tagged last night. My back wall around the patio. Don't know who did it but the work ain't bad. Had to call Leslie and see if it was something she commissioned. The green paint matches some gigantic writing on the side of the Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Museum so they will probably be able to track the budding Picasso down.

Alyson brought this horrific faux Santa Fe ceramic cow skull in and wanted to see if it had any value. A gift from a relative who might not really like her that much and wanted to express her antipathy in the ugliest way possible. I suggested explosives but a large rock would probably do the trick just fine.

Generally taggers are loathsome and vile but in this instance i think they did you a favor, that wall looks a whole lot better now.
waist deep in the mist
Robert! the grafitti on your wall was of the 'Green Face of Death'
You have less than a week to live!
