Saturday was the 29th annual Fallbrook Christmas Parade. I don't usually go, preferring to hide in my shop, but my wife loves it so I stuck around this year. People had their chairs out at the crack of dawn. Several friends stopped by earlier in the day, fresh back from Napa, and we had an impromptu cabernet tasting. Other friends popped by as the evening progressed and Leslie cracked bubbly.
It was cold but tolerable this year. The parade went on for hours, lots of bands and cars and the funky smalltown floats that make living in Fallbrook wonderful. Mayberry, California. Saw a lot of friends and had a really nice time.
