It was Veterans Day yesterday and Fallbrook being a military town, it had a lot of folks in the street cheering on the tanks and our fighting men and women, Army and USMC. This year they placed soldiers at attention about every thirty feet down Main St. I tried to get them to laugh but it was hopeless. Sort of like the guys at Buckingham Palace. I thought that tickling would be definitely out of bounds and inappropriate so I just told a few corny jokes. Hats off to the brave fighting men and women, don't think I was ever cut out for it, myself.
