This may be hush hush but my buddy Tony's uncle hired Big Bill Broonzy to sweep their Chicago factory in the early days. A tape was recorded in the factory owner's living room in 1952 of Broonzy playing about 18 songs replete with between song patter. I got to listen to it. All I can say is amazing. Since it is unreleased I can not share it at this time but hope to be able to one day when everything gets worked out.

your friend is sitting on a gold mine; i wonder how the quality of the tapes is? of course with digital technology they can be cleaned up.
They have been digitally remastered with 20 bit converters. Sound really good.
