That is one episode that didn't sound familiar. I'll have to look for it. Always liked that show.
Although it's not a great film, you might like "THE END OF AMERICA" available on Netflix. Based on Naomi Wolf's best seller, it draws parallels between the US patriot act and other countries that lost individual freedoms. Maybe a little heavy handed at times, but interesting:
