The blast has temporarily halted its mining of the disco funk school and is now moving into the realm of female singer songwriters. This one kind of bridges the genres. Not a great body of work but I always thought this song was sort of catchy.

this is nice, i wasn't aware that Patrice sang too; back in the day she was a very in-demand jazz keyboards player, backing Lee Ritenour and that whole Baked Potato crowd, and fronting her own bands; she could really play and it didn't hurt being a cutie-pie as well.
