Moody Blues

Another great band of harmonizers - Paris 1970. The Moody Blues were named after one of the two morning glory strains with supposed psychedelic properties, the other reportedly being heavenly whites. Originally formed as an R&B band in 1964. Admitting you like the Moodies is a bit like admitting to liking Abba or The Kingston Trio. But I confess.

I do like the Moody Blues... also the Kingston Trio... not so much Abba... Chicago is similar and I like a lot of their stuff.

I first heard about the Kingston Trio in the middle 50s when my parents saw them at the Hungry I in SF.

Thanks for including this video!!!

i get them and Procul Harem confused; weren't they both kind of responsible for starting the whole prog rock movement, that eventually ended up sinking rock n' roll? i may be totally wrong...
