I have had a run of cool train paintings come into the gallery. They are all of good size and well executed. The first two are by a rather obscure artist from Encino who was painting as early as the forties named Thomas G. Harcus. The last by movie illustrator Ken Sawyer. If you know any devotees of the locomotive that might want a nice inexpensive painting please let me know.

check out the cover art for this Count Basie reissue cd, "Super Chief"; looks like one of your guys could have painted it; the critic Robert Palmer used to write amazing jazz reviews for Rolling Stone and the NY Times years ago, this is one of the albums he heaped praise upon; also Sun Ra and Anthony Braxton; what an amazing writer...there's a Lionel store in Culver City where all the model train geeks in SoCal congregate, i bet someone there would love to own one of your paintings, they're so beautiful...

8.8, mama mia..so have we heard from Pat Robertson yet, on how the people of Chile had it comin', for voting in Salvador Allende back when, or for finally ousting Pinochet? damn, they lived through a 9.5 back in 1960, we could learn something from them...
:-(
I read that Thomas Harcus paintings were bought by Johnny Carson in the past...and Jay Leno. He had some great old car paintings too.
