My friend Shawn Mayes just sent me pictures from his recent trip to Nepal. Shawn lives in Thailand and is an excellent and sensitive photographer. I received so many wonderful photos from him and I post a few here. Great eye for color and form.
I am slightly jealous of Shawn, as I have stated previously. He manages to live a life mostly off the grid, and passionately consumed with his many avocations. In a lush paradise. Damn.
Shawn went to the Art Institute of Chicago and was always ahead of the aesthetic curve. Thanks for sending these, Shawn.
