how many harpguitarists can you fit on one stage? as many as you want; bit of overkill there, i would say; too many cooks spoil the broth, and all that; the instrument has a lovely sound, but i find it's appearance disturbing, sort of like a deformed acoustic guitar; i'm assuming the harp strings aren't plucked or strummed but are there for resonance only; still, i wouldn't mind owning one; i knew Metheny plays it on one of his albums; thanks, it's good to hear something out of left field now and then.
for a video of Michael Hedges playing the instrument; hard to believe it's been 12 years since he passed; what a loss; i was blessed to see him perform live; for me he was the Jimi Hendrix of the acoustic guitar.
