i'm pretty sure Dylan covered this on his "Self Portrait" album, which was panned by the critics at the time, but i loved it...i confess i never heard of this guy before; he kinda reminds me of Pat Boone..
my earlier comment about Pat Boone was a goddam cheap shot that i wish i could undo; i played this video again from the ask.com website and it sounded fantastic.

This song was really big when I was a youngin in Texas.
