I heard from my doctor this morning and my kidney removal is scheduled for 4/1/09. April Fools Day. He thinks that recuperation will be much faster than the last go around.

I have just been notified by the doctor to expect an 8 to 12 week recuperation.

Can imagine the April Fools jokes that Leslie will get, like the operation went fine on his kidney but the doctor accidently gave him a gender bender op. at no extra charge.....just joking!!!!!
I never could get the hang of that praying stuff Robert in spite of the multi-millions killed in the name of some stupid religion or another,or maybe because of, but my thoughts and best wishes are constant for your speedy recovery and a smooth path after your surgery..

Maybe Leslie and you will get lucky and you will get the leftovers from Fred Willards surgery from the beginning of the blog. A young Frankenstein type of thing with the transfer from Peter Boyle to Gene Wilder. Seriously, my friend I will be there to see you and make sure the catheter is inserted properly. I actually think that April 1 is the perfect surgery date for one of our family.
You know, mom always blamed your kidney problems on LSD. I have tried more than once to tell her that this is ridiculous

I don't think the LSD hurt the kidney but it might explain the horns and the tail...
