In and Out Regurge

I've got a couple guatemalenos working outside today. Picked them up at the church - I had used one before and wasn't sure about the other guy because he was sporting eyebrow jewelry but the first guy said he was ok. Funny, I got as judgmental as my parents in my old age. Had to drive to Temecula to pick up a toilet at Home Depot, my old porcelain throne is leaking. Large spread in toilet prices, couldn't tell the difference so I went cheap. My ass will probably now go on strike.

The deal with day laborers in these parts is you buy the lunch so I killed two birds with a single stone and hit In-and-Out burger as it was opening. Ironic that I should blog fast food a day after I dissed it but hypocrisy is my middle name after all. My cardiologist said I looked anemic a few weeks ago and I am back on a serious meat jag.

In-N-Out has many fans I don't get it. Limp, anemic, undercooked fries were accompanied by a burger that, while fresh, lacked anything that would set it ahead of the pack. Squishy, lackluster bun, little flavor. Decent touch with the thousand island. Tommy's Burger kicks it's ass from here to Sunday. What am I not getting? For the best north county burger, sorry Nessy, try Chili Coast in Vista, on East Vista Way - their char broiled chili burger smokes the competition. Good fries, nice selection of libations. Buon Appetito.

You need an operation on you're taste buds. You don't need a transplant kidney you just need trans fat. I agree that In-n-Out is getting pretty skimpy these days. They do such incredible business I dont think they would miss your hunger induced opinion.

amen to Chili Coast in Vista; they kick a** on Nessy's, not to mention In-n-Out; very nice vibe there also, sports on all the tv's, several kinds of draft beer, killer fries, reasonable prices-what more can you ask for? if you're in the mood for slightly more fancy food, try the weekday lunch buffet at Ciao, east of Chili Coast on Vista Way-mama mia!
