what a beautiful voice; he bears an uncanny resemblance to Dr. King also; i love how they change the tempo midway into the song, also the bit where he imitates Jimi; too cool for school...

Actually, T-Bone Walker predated the behind the neck move. He was probably more of an influence then Hendrix who hadn't really hit yet.

T-Bone, of course; i stand corrected, thanks...i have a Lenoir cd on order at the library, it can't get there soon enough; in the meantime i snatched up the one Mayall cd they had, called Along For The Ride, which came out a few years ago, and features a long list of musicians who've played with John over the years, including Peter Green, Mick Taylor, Gary Moore, etc...i checked out John's website and he's still touring like a maniac; the guy is 75, amazing...also saw a reference to some unreleased recording sessions that Dylan (and his producer Tom Wilson) did with Mayall and the Bluesbreakers in '65, probably before Bob latched on the Hawks (ie the Band) as his backup group- what i'd give to hear those!...
