once again, some benign nostalgia, this time from one hit wonder Norma Tanega circa 1966, to take us away for a moment from the mess in Detroit, Washington, and the world at large. I love this song and this video and i just adore her smile, and her earrings.

who gives a crap about this woman's smile or her earrings? Nice Gibson SG she's strumming - she might want to try plugging it in. Dumb song.
This doesn't really take my mind off of Detroit or Washington (things that I think are important for Americans to think about at the moment...) It actually makes me think about running for a straight razor to slit my wrists. I know that Dylan (a guy that some apparently worship) played it on his radio show last week, does that mean we have to hear it again? You want to talk about a forced affected voice, listen to Zim on his radio show. You remember the movie "Wild in the Streets"? Maybe they had the right idea.
Well, i for one give a crap, she was a beautiful lady in my opinion...thanks for the tip on the brand of guitar she's using, good to know...as for being unplugged, that was common for tv in those days, they would often lip-synch to the studio track, even the Beatles did it...finally, i think it's a beautiful song.

only intended it as a brief respite, for cheese 'n crackers...glad to hear Bob played it on his show, i gotta tune in sometime..
Too bad Grumpy somebody could't unplug you.
not gonna happen any time soon, you'll just have to tough it out, partner...
I guess Grumpy's comment was prescient in a Murphy's law kind of way........
Hope all is well with you and Leslie.
I was just checking out the 'Blast' and had to listen to "Walking my Cat Named Dog". I couldn't actually remember it until I heard it. Nice......
Have a great day,
