I used to get that reaction with eggplant - just had a tough time with the texture. I know it's off topic but still can't stomach asparagus. and it makes your pee smell funny.
what about okra?.. a relative is always bringing me persimmons from his tree, i just end up throwing 'em in the trash..i don't care for plain jello either, but i love tomato aspic, which is made with lemon jello and tomato sauce...i can't even conceive of eating a raw egg..
