From the Salt Lake City Newspaper online:
Tim DeChristopher spoke for many people who want these lands protected in the public interest. A legal defense fund for him has been established at Center for Water Advocacy, PO Box 331, Moab, UT 84532. A former director of BLM, Patrick Shea, has offered to help defend him. Many of us former BLM employees applaud Mr. DeChristopher's courage.
I am happy to give money (I have a little!) to Tim's defense fund but would like to contribute as much to pay the $49,000 he needs by 12/29. That way no jail for him. The website for Center for Water Advocacy is not working (PayPal) to collect money right now. Any news about where to contribute to leases? I'll mail check for defense fund.

If you find out let me know as I would like to donate as well.
