hey, i wouldn't dream of it, Gary sure sounded sweet here, as for white boys playin' da blues, hey, i'll stack John Hammond, Kelly Joe Phelps, even Clapton up against anybody, heck, Dylan could be the greatest bluesinger of all time...thanks, i enjoyed this..
Grumpy asked me to tell you that he is offended by the remark he made about Bob Dylan...but not the remark he made about Kelly Joe Phelps. He asked me to do this because I am a close personal friend of Robert Johnson, who was as good a standup comic as ever lived. Maybe even better than Milton Berle. Grumpy is embarrased by his confusion and asked me to act as his facilitator. Of course, you might get confused here, because there were TWO Milton Berles-there was the comic and then there was the OThER...the satanic devil worshipper Milton Berle.
Speaking of Milton Berle, Miles Davis had an interesting encounter with him at one point in his life. You can check it out in Miles' autobiography, which is an excellent read besides.

...i'm certainly not a scholar of the blues but for me Bob's "Pledging My Time" is as good as it gets...
Grumpy asked me to tell you that he's offended by the Lenny Bruce remark. I'm an associate of his.

I'm glad you at least agree with me about Phelps, Stan. Have a nice day.
